Our Team
Uniek is founded by a team of experienced founders and operators who have worked together across multiple companies over many years. Bas Kohnke is a Y Combinator alumni (S14) who co-founded the HR-tech company Impraise. Kareem Zaher is an experienced CTO who previously led engineering teams at Booking.com and the unicorn scale-up BetterUp and Floor Püttner was the director of a healthcare innovation focused non-profit for 10+ years and brings deep expertise in designing and delivering guest experiences through her operation of Villa El Limon, a successful vacation property in the South of Spain.
About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, high-energy generalist to join our team as an operational jack-of-all-trades and the beating heart of our community. You'll sit at the intersection of community, customer success, operations, and product, working directly with both property owners and service providers on our platform to keep things running smoothly, keep people engaged and excited about Uniek, and help us grow. This is the kind of role where no two days look the same. One morning you might be onboarding a new property owner, the afternoon coordinating an onsite meeting for a service provider try-out, and by evening rallying our community ahead of a live get-together or flagging a recurring product complaint to the CTO. About You
You have gained 1-2 years of work experience at another startup or recently graduated your masters degree as top student in your batch and ready for a startup experience in the AI era. Your friends describe you as a high achiever, curious person who is continuously learning, playing around with new tools or trying out the next new thing, an organized operator and an independent thinker. In the past year you've really embraced AI tools and not just used ChatGPT to ask it questions, but actually built things with it and integrated it into your workflow.
What You'll Do
Onboarding & Support to Property Owners
- Onboard new hosts onto the platform and guide them through their first experience
- Provide responsive, thoughtful customer support and resolve issues end-to-end
Onboarding & Coordination of Service Providers
- Help service providers onboard and track sign-ups through the funnel
- Be the go-to point of contact for service providers questions and issues
- Coordinate onsite meetings and prepare service providers for try-outs
- Track sign-ups and keep the pipeline organized and moving
Operations & Optimizing Processes
- Coordinate service provider bookings management across the platform
- Monitor availability and coverage area of Service Providers
- Monitor platform usage, spot patterns, and surface anything that needs attention
- Leverage AI to improve our operational activities so that we increase our productivity
Community Activation & Building
- Activate and re-engage our customers — turning quiet property owners, guests, and service providers into active, enthusiastic users who get the most out of Uniek
- Work side by side with our co-founder to organize online and in-person gatherings that bring our community together and build genuine connection around Uniek
- Be the energetic, friendly face of Uniek — getting people excited about the platform and what we're building
Product
- Channel feedback and complaints from hosts and SPs into actionable insights for the product team — you'll be one of the closest people to our users, and your input will shape what we build next
- Testing new product features before release

Requirements
- Master's degree
- Fluent in English
- 1+ year of full-time work experience
- On-site in Lisbon area
